Shasta Dam
Our church starts at 12:30 and Grace is up and attum about 7:00, so we took a beautiful drive up to Shasta Dam to explore. We saw a bunch of bikes cross the dam and found out you can ride your bike all the way up to the dam on the Sacramento River Trail.
We saw signs for rattlesnakes, but we only saw lots of lizards and squirrels. Grace was so funny when she saw the squirrel. She said, "It's so cute. I want to kiss it." We didn't let her kiss the squirrel. She also really wanted us to throw her hundreds of feet off the dam, so she could, "put her toes in the water." We didn't let her do that either. Parents just take all the fun out of life.
