Manzanita Lake

Manzanita Lake

Lassen National Park was only a few minutes away from Subway Cave so we drove there too. Hardly anything was open because there was still about 25ft of snow on the road. Lassen has had a ton of volcanic activity and has four different types of volcanoes. We stopped by the visitor's center and they told us that Manzanita Lake was open, so we hiked around the lake. We saw a snake swimming in the water, and lots of squirrels. We had a great time.
