Clearlake, California
Mom, Dad, Jessica, and Jaxie came to visit us on their way to Clearlake. Their worldmark condo was about two and half hours away, so they stayed with us for a night in Redding. We showed them the Sundial Bridge, Botanical Gardens, and Whiskeytown Lake.
Then the next day, they stole me and Gracie away and we drove out to Clearlake. We had to wait forever to check in so we did some grocery shopping and waited in foyer until the room was ready.

The next day me and dad went running. Our route followed the lake so it was really beautiful.
Then we spent most of the day swimming! It was over a hundred degrees so the water felt great.
Jax figured out that Grandma's suimsuit looked just like a cape, he also put some underwear on as a mask so he could be just like batman. He looked more like captain underpants to us.
Our favorite part of our room was the view! We had a full patio with glass sliding doors that opened out toward the lake. We had tons of visitors by way of ducks and kittys. The kids loved it!
