Sonoma Racetrack
On Sunday, we drove out to Sonoma to go to the racetrack. We left four and half hours early, and it looked like we would be about two hours early, until we reached the last ten miles. Those last ten miles sucked up our last two hours and we sat down right as they started the pace car laps.
This is what happens when you tell Grace to put on her shoes. She finds the closest pair.
At least we had a pretty view in the stop and go traffic.
It was pretty cool when we got there, so Grace showed her support of Kes by wearing my extra #2 shirt. It warmed up as soon as the sun came out of the clouds.
Grace passed out for the first half of the race, and then collected rocks to put in a coke bottle for the rest of it. Occasionally, she would look up and say, "That's a racecar. Vroom Vroom."
Kevin Harvick won it, and he did a burn out right in front of us.
