Boulder Creek Falls
California is full of water! There are lakes, streams, rivers, and creeks everywhere you turn. Lucky for us, that also means there are tons of waterfalls here. We started our waterfall tour with Boulder Creek because we could take the dogs and it was only two miles of relatively flat terrain.

Grace surprised us by hiking a whole mile all by herself. It worked out fine because Sadie was pretty slow on the way back. She is finally showing her age, and has a hard time going more than a mile now.
Make a wish
We had a picnic down at the lake afterwards.
