April

April

April was full of hot days and spring fun. The desert started to come alive and reminded us that it can be very beautiful! We found tons of Creosote bushes on our hikes and it smelled heavenly. It's the plant you can smell after rainfall. I love that smell!

The dogs have become dog park lovers. Kodi adores the frisbee and hasn't learned how to share, but is friendly with the other dogs now. She will play and run with them. Sadie still sits at my feet and ignores everyone and all dogs as long as the frisbee isn't in play.

I got some really good contractions but they fizzled out after a few hours. Grace just didn't want to come out so we tried hiking her out...then swimming at the lake...nothing.

Lake Mead Loving

We thought Kodi broke her tail because the day after this she couldn't move it. It stuck out about three inches and then fell like a limp noodle. Apparently labs can sprain their tails after a rigorous day at the lake. They use their tails as rudders so if they use it too much, they can sprain it. She couldn't wag her tail for a week. It was torture for her.

Easter was fun. We had Justin over and made Easter Baskets, Dyed Eggs, and made Peep race car drivers. We had a very delicious dinner that night with ham and potatoes.

We made Easter Bunny Pancakes and listened to General Conference.

Dying Eggs

All of our cute Easter Eggs. They made yummy deviled eggs that night.

In-n-Out had a party for all of their employees for making sales past their goal for the year. They gave us dinner at the HardRock Cafe followed by tickets to the Blue Man Group. It was really fun.

The View over the strip as we ate dinner

Feeling Hugely pregnant!

The Blue Man Group!

Right before the show they gave us some In-n-Out hats. The show was awesome, but it was hard for me to be so huge. Any kind of sitting for long periods of time is difficult. Thanks for working hard for us babe!
