Shooting

For Ava's 2nd birthday Sarah and Nate invited us to go shooting then to eat some dutch oven dinner at the Lineberger's house. Aaron was extra thrilled to have someone who could actually throw the clay pigeons. Owen was a little terrifying because you could tell him to stay behind a certain line, and he would forget about ten seconds later. He would run out in front of us and the guns all the time.

Beautiful desert sunsets
The food was amazing too!

This little Chihuahua mix was standing next to the drainage pipe in the fence when I let the dogs out. He followed Kodi and Sadie right up into our house. He was great with the dogs and with kids, but he was super skinny and stinky. We gave him a bath, and we were going to take him to the pound as soon as Aaron came home. I forgot Aaron had scouts, so "Max" stayed the night. He would just follow Sadie and Kodi outside to go potty and then back up into our house. The next day Sadie pooped twice, so I had to go back upstairs to get another bag, when I came back down he had disappeared. I looked around the block for him, but I didn't see him anywhere. A few weeks later, Aaron saw someone walking him. They had found him a building over and adopted him. His name is now Chase and he fits into their family perfectly. I'm glad we didn't take him to the pound.

We let the dogs get out their wiggles by going on a little desert hike. Grace loves hiking!
