Beach Day

Beach Day

Everyday Dad and I would go jogging past these sea lions, but today there were a ton of them. There were some little babies just playing like crazy while the adults snoozed, occasionally barking at the littles to let them know how annoying they were. We took the kids out there and they thought the sea lions were a hoot. They loved it.

After that Chuck and Vickie and Mom and Dad ran off to the pier so Jess, the kids, and I all went to play at the beach. Grace liked the sand finally, when she realized you could play in it with shovels and buckets. We buried Jax about ten times because he loved it.

We made him into a beautiful butterfly

Jessica and I got to be pretty mermaids

We stayed out until sunset, and got candies and snow cones at the candy shop.

And just like that our vacation was over. Vickie reminded us it was St. Patricks day, so we searched for some green to put on. We packed up in the morning and the kids rode down on the carts with the luggage. Of course, since it was Dad's vacation, we stopped at IN-N-OUT for lunch.

As soon as we got home, Aaron took us out to the desert. It was the perfect temperature, and Grace loved hiking after being in the car for so long.

To top of the day, our neighbors brought us some delicious St. Patrick's Day cupcakes.
