February

February

Aaron and I had so much fun fixing up Mom and Dad's house, we decided to renovate the condo a bit. Justin moved out to Jeremy and Brittany's house because of a new job in St. George so we had the place to ourselves. Mom and Dad bought the supplies and we supplied the labor. They are so good to us!

We pulled up all the carpet so I left a little note on the floor.

Aaron cut the laminate and I installed it. This is us started on the living room.

New blinds! We also put in a new window because a group of kids threw a rock through ours. Aaron chased after them and yelled at them. They were little ten year olds on their way home from school.

Painting all the baseboards

I was feeling real proud of myself for nailing back on all the baseboard

I sanded down some of our furniture and stained or painted it.

I painted the vases with some leftover paint

Painting our TV stand. Dad bought us a huge 50' TV for doing the work.

We bought some cute pillows

Got a rug from Mom

And put some little touches in the kitchen

We sanded and repainted this dresser. My mom bought it over 20 years ago so it had some fun carvings from all the kids it has gone through.

The new product

We had a computer stand that we were using to hold the TV, so we painted it and made it into a baby changing table. We have a diaper changing pad to go on top.

The before and after pictures.

The Living Room

Our old room into Aaron's office/nursery

Tule Springs. We looked up this awesome place to find fossils. Mammoths, giant sloths, and sabertooth tigers have been found out here in the Las Vegas desert because it used to be a wetlands. We went fossil hunting, but when we looked it up online we got a city park. lol. Apparently the old wetlands is over 5000 acres, and you can't move the fossils so we just had fun at the park.

There were a ton of ducks, geese, peacocks, and bunnies. You can even fish here.

Kodi and Sadie wanted to swim with the birds so bad. Aaron bent down to take a picture of a goose and almost fell into a pond because Kodi suddenly saw the ducks. It was so funny.

This goose was crazy. He was chasing off and honking at anyone who got too close.

We went home for the weekend to celebrate Ri-Man's birthday and both Taylor and Eric were getting baptized. We didn't want to miss out seeing such a special event.

We all chipped in and he got an Ipad for his birthday. He was so excited.

LuAnn got him a minecraft ice cream cake. He's such a cutie. I can't believe how grown up he is. Just turned 11 and is a perfect mix of his mom and dad.

Eric and Taylor before their baptisms. They were so cute! I'm so proud of them and their decision to join the church. Their confirmations were beautiful!

Danielle came over for a visit and we compared bellies. She's almost done! Her little boy is only a few weeks away from making his debut.

We also went hiking down at the river. The dogs had a blast!

Aaron loves his IN-N-OUT. We celebrated his birthday in UT too. His parents got him a NASCAR cake and a light box for his Ebay business for his birthday. I gave him money for tickets to the NASCAR races in Las Vegas.

His present

Steaks for his birthday dinner!

Aaron's NASCAR driver changed teams, so his new number is 19 this year instead of 99. He had to buy a new hat and he got one for me too because he didn't have to pay for the Sunday race. Chad picked him up because he had free tickets.

He met Joey Logano, one of the drivers

He took a picture of my driver for me

After the race they walked through the garage and snuck into the media center. They walked within a few feet of Kevin Harvick who had just won the race.

Carl Edwards car

They went to a party later and met a Larry the Cable guy look a like and had hamburgers.
