Birthday girl

Happy Birthday

I turned 25 this year. I'm a quarter of a century old. I don't feel old yet, in fact I felt like a five year old when Aaron asked what I wanted to do and I said "Ride a train!" It's been on my bucket list for a while and we had so much fun going to the museum and taking a 45 minute ride on the train.

They really centered it around children and they had Easter crafts and even an Easter egg hunt.

It was so relaxing it almost put me to sleep

Aaron had a test due that he has to proctor across town. (He is doing so well at school! His test scores are usually one of the top three in the class. He is also sporting straight A's. I'm so proud of him!) They have a beautiful park where we grabbed some ice cream cones and walked around. We also went out to dinner and had dessert at home. It was a fun birthday!

Maternity Pictures

Maternity Photoshoot

Melissa gave us a great gift for our baby shower. The next day she took us out and did Maternity pictures for us! I picked out the dress I wanted a few months ago and when I had tried it on it looked really cute. When I put it on again for this photoshoot I couldn't believe how short it got. My belly must have grown quite a bit in two months. I was a little embarrassed with how slutty it looked, but Melissa still made it work. She is a great photographer.

The moment I realized I no longer have any ab muscles

I love love love this photo. Aaron looks so sweet in it!

March

March

Jessica and Mom put together a really fun baby shower for me. It was mostly family, and Danielle came with her 8 day old baby Emerson McCoy. I loved the way his little legs would curl up like he was still in the womb. He is so so precious! For not inviting many people, we sure made out like bandits! Both Grandma's had way too much fun shopping! Other than some little things we are all set for Gracie to come into the world. Thank you so much for everyone that came or pitched in because they were too far away to come!

They decorated so cute

All of our presents!

Jessica made this mobile for me and the picture doesn't do it justice! I couldn't believe how cute it is.

Mom made me a matching lamp set. They are touch lamps too so its really convenient to tap them on.

Aaron went on a motorcycle ride with Bill and some of his other guy friends. They were gone most of the day and he had to refill the tank five times. He got a sunburnt nose and washed Dad's motorcycle in return for letting him use it. I couldn't believe how long they were gone and all the snow they hit. I can't sit on a motorcycle for that long!

We have mostly been pretty lazy lately. I've been sick and Aaron started his new job at In-n-out. They are working with his school schedule and the doctor appointments so we are pretty stoked to be making some money. We also have record highs for Las Vegas for this time of the year. Say what? It hit 94 degrees when it's usually only in the 70's. This hot weather is killing me!

Our side job. Mom got us hooked on liquidation but we sell through Ebay. Aaron shipped out 13 packages that day.

We hiked out to Duck Creek

And made it out to the Hoover Dam. I can't believe how low the water is right now.

We try to get out to the lake as much as we can so the dogs can cool off. I wish the dog park had some kitty pools for the dogs to jump in. I really worry about them overheating.

Kodi loves to play fetch with sticks

I'm always on the hunt for heart shaped rocks, something Aaron's sister Melissa got me into, and I found this rock and couldn't resist showing it to Aaron. Lol. He was so impressed he took it home and put it on his computer desk.

Fourth Anniversary

Fourth Anniversary

Aaron and I celebrated our fourth anniversary on February 12th. Oh how time flies. He woke me up with breakfast in bed and had gone across the street and gotten me flowers. He even picked the right kind. I love tulips. We decided to go hiking in a new place this year, and found a hike called The Fire Wave at the Valley of Fire. We were going to have a romantic picnic out there, but Justin was in town and wanted to come hiking with us, so we brought him too. I tried not to give Justy anything with the cheesy sayings on it. I had written "You are the peanut butter to my jelly" on the sandwiches, and "I'm nuts about you" on the trailmix, and "Lets never split" on the bananas and the list goes on and on. Aaron thought it was cute.

The colors were really beautiful

We made it. We were a little disappointed because when we first started there wasn't anyone around, but I was so slow we got passed by two groups of people. We all waited until the sun went down for the perfect shot of the wave.

Sporting the belly shot

Yummy! I love taking pictures of him taking pictures. This guy is the best! He's hard-working, responsible, thoughtful, loyal, strong, spiritual, self motivated, driven, happy, thinks of others first, and a handsome hunk. He's the steady rock that balances out my craziness. I'm so lucky he is stuck with me forever.

Sadie girl

Sadie is getting too old for long hikes. She plopped down and refused to move on the way back. Poor girl. I think she was too hot.

Aaron made us some delicious steaks on our portable grill. The condo rules say we can't cook on our balcony so we had to get creative. It was so good!

Perfect anniversary babe! Here's to another awesome year ahead!
